Release Update

It seems I will keep my promise (to myself, since no one else reads this) to have a new release ready within the planned time. I am basically done with coding, and only need to update the documentation. I still have 4 days to go, so overall I am happy with the progress made.

The 'AutoTable' and 'AutoRecord' plugins are now in a state where they can actually be quite useful. To do this was a hard job, considering the limited time I have left for coding after taking care of my family and regular job. These plugins are essential for other features I plan to put into RADWiki, which I hope will enable developers to build useful applications with a database backend.

Time for some more screenshots:

New release in 2 - 3 weeks...

There has been done a lot of work since the last (and first) post. Most of it has been done "under the hood", so there is not so much to see. The main work has been to facilitate the writing of plugins under an easy to use API. Also a lot of work was spent on the AutoTable and AutoRecord plugins. Some more time is needed to finish the functionality of these plugins, but it should not take more than 2 - 3 weeks (from the time of writing).

When the AutoTable and AutoRecord plugins are ready, there will be a new alpha release, and soon after that a developers release, which is the same but includes the API and a plugin developers guide.

Another feature that has been added is the use of page revisions (see screenshot left). Its nothing fancy and never will be, since unlike other wikis RADWiki it not meant to be a knowledge base type of product.
